Appearance: Pours a completely clear, light, pale golden color with a massive white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of pale malts, earthy Munich malts, some crisp honey notes and yeast off the end. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of pale malts, earthy and bready Munich malts, some light honey notes. Some yeast and then a smooth, mildly sweet finish. (4.00)
Feel: Medium-bodied, average carbonation. Smooth, mildly sweet finish. (3.75)
Overall: Another description of a style with gray margins and unclear if it's its own style. A Mexican Lager. Steel Toe makes some great beers so picked up a single. This one is much more than American Lager. It has smooth pale malt and bready flavors. Almost an earthy Munich malt flavors reminiscent of a German Helles. Even some smooth honey flavors and sweetness that linger off the end. No matter how you feel about these lager substyles, I thought this was an excellent lager. (Rating: 3.98)

At the tap room, poured in a nouveau/funky pokal. Looks somewhere in between straw and yellow and amber, with a 1 finger thick head that sticks around decently. On the nose, fresh corn, grain, bready malts. Taste carries everything forward, and combines it with some mild floral hops...corn is really kind of distinctive and nice. Body is moderate to light, full of flavor, finishes clean and there's a little hoppy liveliness (but not too much) that lifts it up at the end. If I’m rating to AAL style, this is…excellent!

12oz can. Canning date stamped on bottom lip of can is '03/16/22'.
Clear, pale amber colored body. One finger of frothy white head sticks around. Leaves behind strings of lacing.
Aroma of toasted grain malts and flowery hops. Slightly smells of corn.
Taste is toasted malts, slight citrus and floral hops. Slightly bitter at the end. Grain malts linger into the aftertaste.
Crisp and clean mouth feel, about average for type. Very good carbonation.
Refreshing to drink, with a crisp and somewhat drying finish.
