12 oz can canned 2/17/26 into a Becher.
L: Pours a straw apricot color with a 1/2" domed white head, light steady carbo, head recedes to edge froth, tacky medium-light complex lacing.
S: Fruity vinous hops, lightly earthy, distant apple, a hint of citrus.
T: Fruits, apricot, grapefruit and zest, pine resin, old honey, it is slightly sharp and is tart, resin lingers long clinging to caramelized malts, a hint of marmalade, light yeast and pastry dough return in the long finish.
F: Gently brisk then moderately smooth medium bodied mouthfeel with a slightly dry finish. It is a little bit sticky.
O: Imagine reconstituted dried fruits and in a very good way. It has gentle tartness and a glide to the overall drinking experience that is superb. Malts emerge in the finish and as the beer warms as well. It is outstanding.

Pours murky dull amber/orange with a thick white head. Decent amount of lacing. Aroma is bold citrus and pine. Flavor follows the nose, slightly sweet but plenty bitter at the same time. Feel is medium bodied with marginal carbonation. Overall, a true west coast IPA.

From a 12oz can:
Appearance: Clear yellow gold, good head.
Smell: Big piney and citrus smell.
Taste: Attacks with bitterness, then balances out with mildly bready note while maintaining a big citrus/grapefruit presence. Medium bodied, finishes with pithy grapefruit.
Overall: A really good old school type IPA. Plenty of bitterness and big grapefruit flavor. Steel Toe has another winner IPA here!

12oz can. Bottom lip stamp of 'CANNED ON 06/05/24'.
Clear, pale gold colored body. Two fingers of white head upon pouring, and this becomes a thin cap and high ring. Leaves behind long strings of lacing.
Aroma of citrus, tropical, and pine. Grapefruit, pineapple, and dank pine.
Taste is sweet, fruity, and dank. Flavors of orange, grapefruit, lemon, pine resin, and a little pineapple. Slight peach and apricot. Definite bitterness. Dry in the aftertaste finale.
Medium mouthfeel. Tongue numbing with repeated sips. Very good carbonation.
Steel Toe informs us that this brew was previously known and released as 'IPA' IPA. Well balanced among sweet, bitter, dank, and fruity.
