Cloudy, with floating particles. Orange in color, with a thin head. Streak lacing. Aroma is bread malt and spice with ripe, tropical fruit. Flavor follows suit. Bready and citrus, with some hops bitterness. Resinous, with notes of mango and pine. Hops oil in the finish. A decent beer overall.

Bomber from SaveMart. Amber pour, substantial creamy head, streaky lacing. Aroma features light malts and tropical fruit. Velvety body adds some mango, a light bitter finish, mildly sweet and dry.

Poured orange. Upon smelling it I knew this is going to be a chore to drink. It smelled buttery mixed with heavy hop oil.
The first sip confirmed my dread. Very heavy malty taste with a faint hop taste. Why brew a IPA that's so malty and so thick-mouthed in the year of 2017? I just don't get it.

Appearance - Pours hazy and copperish orange with plenty of sediment floating about. Off-white, finger width head displays fair retention before peeling back to a thin, broken layer of suds and a thin ring around the edge of the glass.
Smell - Bready with a tropical hop kick - notes of orange, lesser papaya and faint pineapple.
Taste - Follows the nose. Balanced malt and hop profile with bready and slight caramel sweetness plays off the modest tropical hop notes, hitting on orange, light pineapple zing and faint papaya notes. Light, pithy bitter orange and traces of caramel are found lingering in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. Goes down well enough for a near 8% brew.
Overall - A fair IPA with a touch of tropical flavor. Though its less than 3 months old, I have a feeling this beer's well past its peak of freshness. A candidate for a re-review if I ever run across a fresher bottle.

22oz bottle served in a large snifter. @mr-jj gave it to me. I don't see a date on it. Lots of sediment left in the bottle.
Pours fairly clear reddish amber with very little head and very little carbonation. Smell is beer -- fairly nondescript. Sniff it a few more times, I start getting some pine and citrus fruit. Maybe a little hay.
Taste is bitter up front, some mild sweetness in the background that might be mango or pineapple. Aftertaste is super bitter, drowning out the sweetness. It's not bad at all, but it's not exciting.
Mouthfeel is medium thickness, medium stickiness, and too flat. Overall, it's not bad -- not something to be avoided, but I wouldn't seek it out.
