16oz can in a curvy Monhegan pint glass. Dated 08/27/25.
Pours hazy amber-gold, big fluffy head, moderate carbonation. Smell is old dried orange flowers and rind, some graininess.
Taste is a little on the medicinal side, very vegetal, some grain sweetness and moderate floral honey, lots of cut greens bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, but light and airy. Overall, not bad, but not impressive as a fresh hop.

Look: Medium orange in color and cloudy with a spirited head that ends as a pillow and puckers away, leaving great lacing behind
Aroma: Limes, orange, lemon juice, culinary herbs, some fresh cut grass, raspberry, and tangerine. Honestly, I’m not getting much ‘fresh hop’ in the nose
Taste: Starts out with a weird dusty sage and cardamom note that lingers for a bit until some grass starts to cut through it. I get a sort of vegetal hop note in the middle, like chewing on a hop cone that already went through a wort boil and is neutered and this lingers until dusty herbs return to close it out
Mouthfeel: Full, medium-high carbonation, and lightly dry on the finish
Overall: This one is a disappointment for sure. I had high hopes given these folks FH Pils and Kolsch game so went in blind and not sure if it was the hop varietal they used or something during the cold-side addition of said hops, or both, but this is weird tasting and has no fresh hop presence whatsoever. Too bad but hey, you can’t win them all
