There must be wine barrels in the brewing process, since this tastes so grapey. It tastes fruity and juicy, and it even smells like Concord grapes.
Sort of a meaty flavor-- a touch of soy sauce? Color is opaque brown with a modest foam in the glass and plenty of spritz in the mouth. Light bodied, watery mouthfeel. Odd dark taste in the back of the mouth. Blackberry cider. slightly sweet.
No trace of hops in this stuff. It's more like partially fermented grape juice. Slight crackery taste. This needs the "wet hop" treatment. Baffling. On tap at the brewpub.
