Slightly hazed golden straw color. Average head, quarter-finger thick. Very unique smell, funky and sour and more; added cherries bring a distinct tartness. Mild herbal quality, like banana creme. Has a certain quality I can't put my finger on. Overall, creamy, tart, very funky and sour, faint wheat-like quality to it. Taste is equally complex and baffling; very tart and funky. Sour lemon, touch of barnyard funk. Mildly bitter, but not from hops, more from the sheer tartness. Teeth-aching taastes, but in a good way. Finishes a bit clean, with more lingering berry tartness.
I liked this beer, despite its almost overwhelming variety of tastes and sweet-tartness.A tulip is too much for one sitting, would've preferred this in a smaller glass.
