12oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a good-sized, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It tasted of sweet juicy orange, pineapple, guava and caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

Reading that this has oranges is not very surprising as it's definitely a fruitier/sweeter IPA (which is a good thing in this case). I think that fruity/juicy sweetness really masks the alcohol present in a 9% beer. It's interesting they went with "juicy" in the name but didn't make a NEIPA. It's a very fruit/hop-forward IPA with not much in the way of a complicated grist.

This has been the new favorite DIPA of the season up here in the rockies.
L: Pours with a slightly hazy golden yellow body and minimal white head. Some nice little rings of lacing decorate the glass.
S: Orange juice is the main player, with lots of pith along with it. There's a strong pine punch in the middle, a whiff of booze, and a light wheat bread finish. A fairly simple nose.
T: On the palate, I taste orange juice, ascorbic acid, orange rind, light caramel, alcohol, pine, and a touch of whole wheat toast. A simple, but delicious flavor profile. It has a nice light sweetness well balanced with some tart and bitter.
F: Drinks very light for 9%; crisp bite too. I'd call 'em dangerous, except you can taste the booze.
O: This is labeled as a "fruit beer" on the can. I can only imagine the fruit must be oranges. It's basically an orange juice IPA, and a tasty one, without a doubt.

12 oz can, canned 11/14/18. Pours hazy yellow with a medium creamy white head that retains fairly well and laces the glass.
The aroma is tart pulpy fruit with some wheat malt.
The flavor is sweet tropical fruit with a resiny spicy bitter hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a nice fruity DIPA.

this is really good stuff, takes me back to the early days of denver beer when their hoppy stuff was awesome! it almost drinks like a big brut ipa, but they dont use the enzymes or anything, its crystal clear and super pale, doesnt look like a double at all, looks incredibly light, short little head on it from the tap but the color almost of a pilsener. the hop profile is great here, very tropical, and i think they must add in a little citrus, orange juice and peel, its got that bitter and sweet fruity thing that cant possibly come from hops alone, although it also doesnt drink like a fruit beer, a nice touch really, clean and dry, bitter but not overly so, and with no interference from the grain at all, so the hops are really nicely showcased. not sure what varietals they use, but it has a southern hemisphere fruitiness to me, white wine notes too. juicy is good in the name here because this really is, almost refreshing, doesnt drink anything like its listed abv, impressive! nice carbonation although i do miss a little substance from the grain, its a little thin without it, but i do appreciate the drinkability. a cool new one from these guys, a unique take on a double ipa, and one i will look forward to drinking again, they really did a nice job with this one! for all the negativity beer geeks throw at these guys, i have liked their recent work a whole lot.
