Comes in a near-crystal-clear deep golden color, with a small white head. Good retention and some spots of lacing.
You can actually smell the honey on the nose. It's nice. It's subtle, but sweet, floral, crisp, rich; some biscuity malt background, clovers, hay, perhaps from the touch of hop presence. Just a nice subtle mead-like honey nose in a pleasant blonde ale.
Tastes follows the nose. Very nice. Crispy crackery blonde ale; malt sweetness upfront, followed by hay and grassy-drop notes, (no real bitterness to speak of at all, though) and then that rich but not overly cloying--just noteworthy--smooth honey sweetness comes in on the back. Finishes fairly clean, just a lingering touch of momentary sweetness.
Medium-light to medium feel, not watery or light for its abv, feels slightly thicker, good medium carbonation.
Good beer! Great honey ale in particular! If you like honey, you must try this!!

This was a better beer than anything else I've tried from DBC - it actually tastes like what the description says. There's a good amount of sweetness from the honey but it doesn't actually overpower the flavor profile. You can still get the underlying wheat beer too, so it's pretty well balanced. It's pretty light and would be a nice summer beer on one of their several patios.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, straw-yellow color with a small, white head of thin foam. It left minimal lacing. It smelled of honey, wheat and citrus. Sweet honey taste with cracked wheat and a mild citrus kick.

L: Pours a golden straw yellow color with a small white head and no lacing on the glass.
S: Not much of an aroma, light malt, don't really get much honey here.
T: Some malt and a bit of bitterness but not much going on. Definitely don't get a lot of honey
F: Light and easy drinking
O: This beer feels like it was made to please those who like cheap beer

Canned 4.28.23
Purchased from grocer for about $1.85
Poured at fridge temp into a dumb can glass
Pours a cloudy and unfiltered pale yellow with an aggressive head that settled into 1F loose foam. 4
Aroma was very faint and hard to pick up off the can and glass. Perhaps too cold off the bat, or a bad sniffer. I do get a slight hint of cereal grain as it warms and some herbal hops. 3.25
Grainy, herbal and earthy honey with low sweetness and a touch of lingering hops. 3.5
Fairly low carbo and slight herbal honey aftertaste. 3.5
Overall I think I need to try this one again from descriptions and other reviews read. It was on the fair side of average and almost unremarkable. Glad to have tried it nonetheless! 3.5
