nothing earth shattering, but for me this style never really is. a highly taste beer though, well made, more robust than many, and one of the better denver beer company brews ive encountered. this one was on tap at scratch burrito, a wicked place in its own right definitely worth a visit. medium blonde color on this, and heady and lacy as they come. tons of froth on top, lasting, and leaving beautiful and complete rings as i sip it down a little too quickly. aromas of fresh german pilsener malt, and a little less hops than id prefer, czech or german, its hard to tell because its so light, but the beer itself is packed with malt flavor. there is a nice minerality and cereal grain property to the finish, refreshing still though. its got a lot of body for the style as well, which is what makes this a little more of an all weather beer for me. versatile with food, it handled spice just fine. i think the body aids in that. well carbonated and frothy on the palate. not a remarkable beer in any way, but one thats rather difficult to find faults in of any kind. an all day pils for me.

It's hard to do a pils, methinks. Classifying this as German b/c the snappy Saaz hops just isn't there as far as I can tell. Not a bad beer by any means.

Dull copper/gold pour. Little head, little lacing.

Aroma is sharp malt, some dry bread and spice. Lemony a bit.

Light flavors with lemongrass coming up in the middle. Dry biscuit, not getting the softness of the water here. Some minerals. Again, not bad. With all the other summer offerings, I think one is a taster and then move on. Perhaps a first beer of the night beer
