Solid Belgian stout from Upslope/DBC...although I think the one brewed at Upslope's facility is a tad different.

Shiny dark pour, very robust ruby and blackness. Huge tan, bubbly head. Soft. Pretty good lacing.

Subtle cherry aroma, soft chocolate. Contrasting this with the Choc. covered Cherry beer from O'Fallon...seems my benchmark for choc/cherry.

Well balanced between dark cherry, chocolate, coffee and toasted bread. So glad this was not from a nitro tap. Nitro just dulls the flavors and makes them syrupy. Here, the carbonation provides lift and tingle.

This one would go quite well with cheesecake methinks
