Nice brew for the summer. I was going to get the Key Lime, but hadn't tried this one. Ergo, I drank it....
Pours a murky, dulled out gold that still glows. Kinda like inside a ginger root. Nice white, foamy head, that doesn't stay. But with an enduring, medium swirl it picks right back up. Lacing is thin
Aroma is, well....ginger dominant, but not overpowering. Light biscuit, sticky. Hints of other spices that don't push away the ginger.
Flavor is semi tart ginger. You know it's there and it still announces its presence. Sticky biscuit, semi sweet. Hints of coriander and lemon zest. There is no doubt about what this beer intends. The name speaks for itself yet doesn't rub your nose in it.
A good beer for a hot day. But I think one is enough for me. May go well with a veggie pizza with basil leaves.
