Nice lacing, thin head. Aroma of fresh fields of wheat, lemon. Palate of lemon, light lime, bright grapefruity, piney hops. Long finish. More hoppy then past hefes. Light body, not very creamy though kinda grainy. 87/100. Pros are brightness and long finish. Cons are a little overly bitter for style and thin, grainy texture.

Served on-draught into a 5 oz sampler glass at the Denver Beer Co. Reviewed from notes taken July 2012.

A: Pours a half finger beige colour head which disappears before I can note its characteristics. In other words, retention is horrible. Body colour is a cloudy pale yellow - more what I'd expect from a witbier. No yeast particles are visible. No bubble show.

Sm: I struggle to detect anything at all. I get some extremely light lemon esters.

T: Light orange, banana, and clove. The banana is quite nice. Clean and refreshing, but simple and boring. Lacks a full body, relying on its overcarbonation to fill it out. Not complex or subtle, but fresh and pleasant. No yeast or alcohol comes through.

Mf: Overcarbonated. Smooth and wet. Way too thick.

Dr: A nice little banana-centric hefeweizen held back by its simplicity and overcarbonation. I doubt I'd have this again; there'd have to be nothing better available.
