Another new release for the brewbpub's first anniversary.
Draught, served in a pint ale glass.
Head was not quite a 1/4". Again, the glass was full, but not overfilled. The thin, light head soon disappeared to a wisp, which did not last and left no lacing. Color was wheaty amber and opaque.
Aroma revealed wheat with a touch of melon. Very mild.
Flavor followed the aroma. A wheat beer, with just enough melon. Definitely Crimson Sweet variety, which has a unique flavor among watermelon. A very good balance of the wheat, melon and sweetness. Well done.
Mouthfeel was a little thin, but with a nice finish.
Overall, a good summer beer. It went well with my salad. This beer could benefit from a stronger aroma.
