On tap at the brewpub. Pours a dark amber with a thick off white head. Aroma of floral hops, fruits, and lots of bready malt. Flavor has lots of bready and toasted malts. Some light fruits come out too, but this beer is mostly dominated by the bready malt notes. Very enjoyable and drinkable.

Growler filled fresh from the tap at Black Forest Brew Haus served in a standard pint glass.
Hazy, deep amber color with a beige head that settled to a layer and left spots of lacing.
The smell is toasted malt with a bit of citrusy hops in the background.
The taste is very well balanced, toasted malt upfront with a dry, bitter finish.
Light/medium bodied with low carbonation and a slightly thin feel.
Goes down easy and is not too filling.

Poured a deep amber/ruby hue with a two finger foamy head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell was subtle. A bit of a malty nose - caramel and a slight toasted aroma.
The taste was rather well balanced. A good malt body with a dry hop finish. Good bittering.
The mouthfeel was average - maybe a bit on the thin side, but good overall. Good carbonation and a dry finish.
Overall a very drinkable ESB. Not a perfect example of the style, but certainly a good effort.
