Peach Stand RamblerPeach Stand Rambler
Notes: There’s nothing quite like the summer harvest of Palisade peaches. Peach Stand Rambler is our tribute to the hands that carefully tend those orchards. A Blonde Ale brewed to accentuate fresh Palisade peaches, this beer is refreshing and bright like a calm Colorado sunset.

Very nice golden color to it. Not much for a head, white in color made up of fine little bubbles.

Getting some peach on the nose. Some hop presence as well. Very light bread smell, like a very fresh light white bread.

Taste is first peach than some hops and malt come out mid way and play nice with each other. Sweet peach up front. Not like a syrup sweet but that good meaty sweet taste of a good peach.

Mouth feel is light for sure. Finish is crisp.

With that fresh flavor profile and the nice mouth feel this seems like a very easy drinking summer beer. Not so sweet that a person could have several if they chose to do so. What a nice approach to a refreshing beer for the summertime. Cheers!

L:. Pours a clear straw yellow with a small white head and pricks of small lacing around the glass.

S: Sweet peach is foremost, notes of grain and light fruit.

T:. Sweet peach candy is forefront, a touch of tartness, very peachy, peach is the dominant flavor here, kinda covers everything else here.

F:. Light body, smooth low carbonation.

O:. This beer is just peachy.

12oz can. Stamped on bottom lip of can is '08/10/21' which should be the best by date.
Slightly cloudy, straw/pale gold colored body. Brief one finger white head. Leaves a couple of rings of lacing.
Aroma is really all about the sweet peaches. A little bit of lightly toasted malt.
Taste has a base of lightly toasted malts, and then the fruity flavor of peaches. Some peach skin flavor in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel. Good carbonation.
Refreshing ale with peaches. The peaches appear very fresh and pure.

12 oz can, dated 8/27/21. Pours slightly hazy yellow gold with a medium frothy white head that quickly recedes and leaves little lacing.

The aroma is lots of floral perfumey peach.

The flavor is sweet floral chemical peach with a balancing bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, not my favorite peach beer. Odell has done much better.

This is a really good fruit beer. If you like peaches, especially local Colorado ones from the western slope, then you need to try this beer. It's not as hoppy as the old Tree Shaker when they made that one with peaches (it's now a mango beer), but this won't beat you over the head with sweetness either. Some fruit beers are way too fruit-forward, and others are so faint you wouldn't even know the fruit was there. This one strikes a fine blend.

pours a slightly hazy pale yellow gold body with a cream colored rocky froth head that billows with big sudsy bubbles hugging the glass and peaks at about two fingers, holding with moderately high retention before slowly settling to a thick rocky halo, leaving occasional but thick lacing behind as it does

aroma is a super clean and floral and earthy peach

taste follows that as well as revealing a solid bready honeyed malt backbone. the peach is only slightly pithy, barely ripe but juicy, and very clean overall. more sweet than tart, and more subtle than lush. there's also a subtle spiced character in the background that I honestly cannot ID.

mouthfeel is high carbonation and lighter body that feels pretty full and finishes crisp with a floral and earthy aftertaste

sip this one at your leisure but make sure it has company. settling for a single can was a mistake that will be promptly rectified. the peach is juicy and supported by a great malt backbone that really balances it all out. this is definitely a peach flavored blonde, not a straight peach fruit beer or lambic, so do keep that in mind.

Pours slightly hazy, light yellow with 1” frothy white head into tulip glass.

Light clean smell of peaches.

Tastes of malt, peaches and slightly tart. Peach is subtle not overwhelming. Very refreshing.

Feels smooth, reasonable carbonation.

Overall very tasty, easy to drink. Nice for sitting on the deck watching the sun go down. In fact I’ll have another one!

Bottle poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass

A: Pours golden yellow with a frothy eggshell white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.

S: Opens with light fruity peach, floral notes, bready malt, caramel sweetness, some faint grassy earthiness, and a subtle hint of spice.

T: Bready malt, a bit floral, very pleasant hit of peaches, light grassy herbal notes, a hint of spice, and caramel sweetness.

M: A little on the fuller side of medium body, and a bit on the softer side of moderate carbonation.

O: I'm usually not one for blonde ales, but I'm diggin' this one. The peaches come through just right, not overwhelming, just the perfect accent. Awesome hammock beer on a warm summer night.

Pours a clear light yellow with a white foamy head. Decent lacing. Aroma is peachy (are you kidding). Flavor is corn and peaches. Feel is light bodied, decently carbonated. Overall okay but not great.

On draught at Old Chicago.

Pours a medium gold with an inch of foam.

Smells quite peachy with a minimal hint of tartness. Actually, I get some sweet notes.

Taste matches the smell. Good notes of peach, very little tartness, more of a natural peach flavour.

Fairly light bodied and an easy drinking brew.

Good stuff.

Got a 12 oz can, dated best by 8/27/20, into a Pearl Street pint glass.

Has a semi-hazy light blonde color with a creamy 1 finger head that dissipates completely within a minute or so. Leaves a tiny hill of lacing around the glass where the head was.

I'm getting some slight peach wine cooler in the nose, with maybe a hint of breadiness, and some cheap adjunct lager type of smell.

Flavor is slight grainy bread crust, hints of fuzzy peach skin, and then a finish of light pilsner malt. One thing that knocks this up a bit is that after the swallow, there's this calming warm peach on your breath that does indeed invoke tranquility. The finish is really all there is to this beer, though. The rest of it is basically bread water.

Feel is crisp and acidic and juicy, which is nice. Carbonation is dialed up high but not too high, with a semi-dry finish and slight acidic tingling.

Overall, a very light beer and one that tastes like a light beer. Nearly gimmicky. If I didn't know any better, I'd assume this was a variant of Michelob's Ultra line-up.

Price paid : $1.69 / can
Would buy again : definitely not

12oz can with a best by date of 8-13-20. Opened 6-6-20.
1" white head falls steadily and holds fast at 1/4" and then a solid cap.
The beer is an opaque, yellow-gold.
Head is easily revived with agitation throughout the 12oz. Light, patchy lacing.
Muted peach and a limited aroma overall.
Peach flavor, seems very natural - not like an artificial fruit flavoring at all.
Enough malt to carry it and no perceptible hops at all.
Light body, medium carbonation. Dry and quick finish. Easy summer time sipper.
This beer is Good, I feel like a little more oomph from somewhere...fruit/hop/yeast (?) and it could have been Very Good.

Poured in a tulip glass. There is a great peach smell that is very calm and appetizing. The peach flavor is not sweet... in a good way. It is not a per-say refreshing beer, instead it has an amazing flavor that is perfect for summer evening hangouts. The unique peach flavor lets you celebrate the beer behind it. Down sides are that it is hazy and light yellow in color so it looks like a cloudy lager. Also, this beer doesn't fill my mouth like many blondes do. Overall, this beer is unique and worth trying I enjoy the peach flavor and I have not had any beer taste quite like it.

Poured from a can into a nonic glass.

Pours nearly clear, slightly-hazed medium gold with a nice fluffy bone white head. Lacing is decent.

Aromas are reserved, which is fine, but they are vague besides. General peach notes with faint hops.

The brew is sweet on the tip of the tongue, with moderate peach flavor. Only a touch of hopping.

The mouthfeel is not on for the style. Medium light but gets sticky as it warms. Not as drinkable or refreshing as expected. More carbonation would have helped I suppose.

Maybe my least favorite Odell brew. It feels like a "mailed-in" effort all-in-all. It's fine for what it is, but if you want a fruity warm-weather brew there are many other that are better.

brand new one here picked up this weekend, awesome packaging, nice to see a new flavor from odell. this does taste and seem just a little cheap to me, which i didnt expect from odell, the peach tastes concentrated, a tad sweet or cooked or candied, but its obviously peach and natural enough, although it doesnt taste like whole fruit in here to me. it stands out like that because the base beer is so light and simple, but at the same time i think it lacks the degree of refinement i have come to expect from these guys. that said, its still a ripper and a nice one as the weather starts to feel more like summer here. not quite as clear and light as i wanted it to be i dont think, a little cloudiness to it, an orange shade, and a pretty white head but not much retention, gone in just a minutes. its a bright and refreshing beer with just a little pale malt character to it and enough carbonation even though it doesnt hold its head. the peach has a light perfume thing happening, but i get use to it quick, this is way better when its ice cold overall. a wide appeal fruity beer with a lot of peach and not much else, and not quite at the odell standard i dont reckon, but an easy drinker that fits the season.
