Blueberry Wheat

It’s baaaack! Poured into a pint glass at the brewer. Thin white head, minimal lacing. Smell of sweet malts with a hint of funk. Malt taste with a subtle hop presence, this is a version with actual blueberries bobbing in your glass, l prefer one with a purée used in the brewing process which gives a reddish color to the beer (unless a blue coloring is added). Delicately sweet aftertaste, a wheat beer more to my liking; light mouthfeel. As time goes by I find I like wheat beers less, but this one is alright.

 

 

This beer pours a very light yellow color with a white head. It looks like a cloudy pilsner with blueberries in it. The aroma is of blueberry muffins. There is no real floralness to it. The flavor is also of blueberry and light malt. Decent mouthfeel. Medium carbonation and a light body. It's a good drinkable beer.

Color is cloudy lightish yellow with a thin white head of tight foam with light lacing in small patches. Smell is faint, but with a good dose of blueberry, quite fresh and breezy, nice to wiff, with a hint of wheat backing adding to the fruityness some. Taste is smooth and fruity, a touch of sweetness with a favorable blueberry flavor, fresh, lightly crisp and refreshing, a bit tart in the finish with lingering wheat in the background. Feel is a lighter body, very drinkable, a sweet blueberry treat for the summer heat.
