At Burley Oak, we love our sour beers! We also love all the aromas you get from our IPA’s. By dry hopping this lacto-happy beer, we’ve created an extreme sensory experience.

Poured from a can purchased at Breski's in Harrisburg PA.
We lacto-ferment many vegetables, and there is a distinctive aroma and taste that comes through every batch, we get that in this beer.
Sour, puckering fermented lemon comes directly through in both aroma and taste. Not bright and citrusy, just the sour. Huge amounts of carbonation. Overall, is just too sour and too carbonated for me, but it's a very decent offering of this style!

Just to light and subdued to makd me s fsn. If u prefer drinkable over flavorful in your NEIPA, then give this one a try.

Semi-clear pale yellow appearance with a foamy lacing head. Fruity, hoppy, creamy notes. Full body, moderate carbonation, nice cross between a berliner Weiss and an IPA.

Between Burley Oak and DuClaw, I'm starting to think that dry-hopped sours are a Maryland specialty.
It smells and tastes fresh and sourific. Clouded gold pour with a nice white head that completely disappeared in a moment. Tastes like a sour with plentiful lactic and the hops punch out upon each sip in a nice and Pilsner like way, where each sip adds a buildup of a hop bite.
It's pretty good and sessionable, fans of sours and pilsners would like this juxtaposition.

Full on hazy gold body under a relatively small white head with modest lacing. Aroma goes straight to sour before the tart can catch up. Light citrus notes linger in the background. Sour and tart are the focus in the taste as well. Hops if any, are very discrete. Crisp, dry, mouthfeel with lively carbonation.

L: On draft in a 16oz plastic cup. Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a white finger white head.
S: Sour lemon
T: I drink a lot of sours and this is the most tart beer I’ve ever had. It’s good, but definitely a sipping beer.
F: Light, crisp
O: I need to have a few more to form an opinion. It’s very sour. Good, but almost overwhelmingly sour.

Quite an interesting sour real dry herbal hops meet a pretty acidic sour lemon twang of a body. Pretty much one and done for me like drinking lemon juice
