Our ever evolving fruited IPA brewed around each equinox to celebrate the great outdoors.

2020: This 2020 Spring camping season variant includes HEAVY doses of Citra. It was then secondarily conditioned on fresh squeezed blood orange juice and mangos to lend a pungent, ripe, orange nose followed by layers of tropical and citrus fruits with a tasteful and necessarily balanced, sticky resinous finish.

Canned "Majestic as a redwood" 04/22/2021
Maybe a bad batch.
Looks fine. Decent head, retention, slight lacing.
Nose is where things seem off: Belgian yeast notes start it off. And pretty much finishes it off.
Taste is basically a Belgian IPA with some delicate undertones of resin. A mild chalky grain feel/taste comes in at the end.
Mouthfeel is decent. Medium feel, good carbonation, slight warmth in the finish.
Overall, I think this is a batch where something went sideways, so take this review with a grain of salt...if you read this far.
I hope to try again in the future because of recommendations.

Winter 2020
Hazy bright uniform golden orange pour with solid two fingers creamy off white head.
Citrus hops on nose, a bit floral, resinous pine note, tropical.
Taste is largely sweet and juicy - ripe orange, grapefruit, peach, some dank and resinous pine, and with a bit of pithy bitterness at the back.
Creamy and smooth medium full mouthfeel - a little lingering hop bittersweetness - a really decent hazy - though ready for a clear west coast IPA....

Pours a hazy orange with soft, fine head.

Smell is piney and citrusy with some sweetness. Notes of orange, peach and apricot with a floral hint.

Taste is fruity with a solid bitterness and big piney notes upfront. Backing up are notes of orange, blood orange, mango, peac, apricot and hints of grapefruit, grapes and melon.

Mouthfeel is medium, soft and pillowy with good carbonation.

Overall, a very nice fruited IPA, lots of flavor and no burn.

From a 16oz can, undated. Served in a spiegelau-style IPA glass.

Pours a dull, dark and murky grapefruity-orangey colour with two-plus fingers of loose whipped froth. Retention is pretty good, settling back into a puffy, merengue-like cap with gobs of lacing.

Pleasantly sharp nose of grapefruit juice and sappy christmas trees - my mouth is bracing itself for some bitterness.

Taste is... oh. Not particularly bitter after all. In fact, it's pretty juicy; grapefruit, yes, but the sweet pink kind, tangerine, even peach, kiwi and pineapple. Mildly sweet, juicy, with low-to-moderate bitterness at best. The little bit of pine comes mostly at the finish, a little sappy, turpy, oily bitterness which lingers a couple of blinks and then is gone.

Feel is clean drinking and juicy, medium bodied and brightly carbonated.

I'm not sure what I was expecting but the name and the label I guess sort of led me to anticipate something old-school turpy and bitter. Instead I got a lightly sweet and juicy NEIPA. Huh. I'm not complaining. Nice.
