Appearance; Arrives cloudy with a burnt orange color; a modest head caps the liquid but leaves limited lacing

Smell: Sour orange softened by mango and papaya tones; vanilla is also in the mix

Taste: The sour orange and mango flavors make a statement, bringing a balance of sweet, bitter and sour tones; the lactose tempers all the flavors and adds a richness to the palate; well-balanced between the sour, juicy and bitter elements

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate to high carbonation

Overall: This could be my favorite beer of 2019; if not, it was certainly the most memorable

L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a snifter glass. Had a dark orange color and a cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Below average lacing.

S: A very good aroma of citrus fruit, malt, lactose, and tropical fruit.

T: Tasted of a mild amount of malt (not a big factor), lots of citrus fruit (several types of oranges), lots of tropical fruit (mango), and a bit of lactose. A super sweet, light, and effervescent flavor. It's quite sour and tart, but not obnoxiously so. It has just the right amount of each of the types of fruit. Quite tasty.

F: A well-carbonated beer with a sharp finish. Medium-bodied.

O: A highly enjoyable sour beer. Drinkable.
