Initial brew at Burley Oak satellite Loakal Brewery in DelMar DE. Purplish no head pour without anything really remarkable. Nose was subdued. Little black currant. Taste was fruity and full of berries more so than currant. Mildly tart against mild sweetness. Body was a bit creamy/ purée like but still light and with refreshing carbonation. Enjoyable/very drinkable fruit beverage; closer to some of the sweeter Belgian lambics in taste but otherwise a fruity full bodied malt beverage with some tartness. Interesting but forgettable.
