Black is Beautiful Volume 2 is a dry-hopped lager, initiated by Sterling Stokes, the RVA Beermeister. Sterling introduced us to Alisa Bowens from Rhythm Brewing out of Connecticut and LaTonia Cokely at Ajourn Tea House in Baltimore. This unique brew is fermented cold and is dry hopped on Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, and Cashmere hops to provide ripe peach, honeydew, and tangerine aromatic notes. Infused with Ajourn's signature Free Will tea blend, top notes of strawberry and subtle black tea.
