It poured a deep amber almost rust color. The smell was subtle citrus and nectar. The first sip put a lot of people off due to its very sweet nature. However, after finishing about half the pint, the sweetness subsides a bit and leaves a juicy, malty flavor with a hint of orange in the background. This isn't a beer I would choose to drink again, as it is too fruity for my taste. But, it was paired with a sweet candied chicken and waffles dish at a beer dinner I attended and, I must say, it was a perfect match for that.
