With a robust 9% ABV, this beer is not for the faint of heart. The slightly hazy golden appearance is topped with a thick, fluffy head that promises a pleasurable drinking experience. The aroma is a delightful medley of sweet citrus notes, including lemon, orange, and grapefruit zest, with a subtle hint of summer grass and a touch of sugar.
The taste is clean and semi-crisp, initially dominated by the vibrant citrus fruit flavors and a hint of sweetness, but gradually giving way to a pleasant bitterness as it lingers towards the back of the mouth. The warm and hoppy aftertaste leaves a lasting impression without overwhelming the palate.
With a medium body that leans towards the lighter side of Imperial IPAs, this beer is remarkably drinkable, making it an enjoyable choice for any occasion. While it may not be the hoppiest IPA on the market, it offers a well-balanced flavor profile that is both tasty and fun to drink.
Overall, this Imperial IPA is a well-crafted brew that exhibits the hallmarks of the style, with its bold flavors, moderate bitterness, and higher ABV. It's a worthy addition to any beer lover's collection, and I would highly recommend giving it a try. Cheers!

Poured from stovepipe can into tulip good 1+ finger cream colored head, good retention and lacing. Dark golden in the glass can read a book thru it. Tropical fruit on the nose. Taste of pineapple, citrus on the front, middle is creamy smooth, reminiscent of an orange julius (vanilla or coconut hop variant?). Looks like a west coast IPA out the gate, but it is a tropical IPA with a great creamy mouth feel and a good firm bitterness on the finish, but does have a good dose of dankness on the finish. If this joker wasn't clocking in at 9%, this would make it into my fridge throughout the year

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a one finger head of puffy white foam. The head has a good level of retention, fading over time to leave a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is rather strong of tropical fruit aromas of tangerine, papaya, mango and pineapple. Mixed with these smells comes notes of a herbal and grapefruit hop as well as some hay and mustiness.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice, somewhat more crisp cracker malt taste, mixed with flavors the tropical fruits that were in the nose (tangerine, mango, and papaya). Along with these flavors comes some grapefruit hop as well as a little bit of herbal hop. As the taste advances, the tangerine and mango initially increase in intensity only to later fade a bit as the fast profile moves to its finish. All the while the hop flavors increase some with both the grapefruit and herbal hop getting stronger. These tastes are joined at the end by a decent hit of pine hop, producing a moderate hopped, and slightly more-crisp (for a 9% abv. brew) taste.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness with a rather average carbonation. Overall, decent for the mix of tropical fruits, higher abv, and moderate hoppiness.
Overall – A rather enjoyable IPA overall. Nice flavors with a very easy (almost too easy for a 9 %) taste and feel.

pours clear dark gold body with a fluffy cream-colored froth head that has moderately high retention and leaves a few specs of lacing behind as it settles to a thin cap
mostly herbal and floral aroma, fairly dank hops. tropical is in the guava and passionfruit realm.
taste follows that and adds a dash of melon and vanilla. coconut? maybe. barely, if so. softly sweet and softly fruited. mostly floral and herbal hop with very little bitterness attached.
feel is low carb and medium bodied that runs soft pillowy smooth and finishes with a low sweetness and a suggestion of bittersweet fruit rind.
overall:
four on the floor. it's nothing out there and not starkly memorable but sure is a nice sit'n'sipper that i'd reach for again on a warm summer night. be warned (or delighted): the abv is completely hidden. this feels like a 5%'r and can sneak up on ya
