A rockin' good looking beer. Hazy pale yellow, mountainous, chunky, soapy white head.
Fairly tasty going, too. Bready, citrusy nose. Appetizing. Soft to drink, breadiness again, yeast, gentle citrus hops. Not in your face, subtle, easy drinking. Flavourful. Yeah, I like this one.

An old favourite from Bar Volo, brewed at Sawdust City brewing premises. Approximately $3 CDN for the 473 ml can. Served cold into a pint glass. Canned June 27, 2016.
Appearance - pale, hazy golden color. A fine finger of everlasting white head. Tons of lacing streaks left all over the glass. A fine looking beer.
Smell - earthy hops, some tropical fruit, namely stone fruit. Light earthy aroma, a touch of sesame. Well rounded and extremely appealing.
Taste - some graininess, light earthy flavor, lots of hops. Easy to drink. Aspects of tea and sesame again in the flavor, dry earthy bitterness to close.
Mouthfeel - smooth, light, perfect carbonation. Easy to drink.
Overall - this session lager from Bar Volo and Sawdust city is one of the easier drinking lagers I've ever had the opportunity to lay my hands on. Certainly worthy of a sample (or three) while the limited stock is available.

Surprisingly fresh and wonderfully flavorful... Pours a murky golden straw colour not quite Wiessen cloudy but with a definite fog. Be careful on the pour it produces a mean but gorgeous head that unfortunately leans the slightest bit soapy which is the main spot it lost points for me. There is a pronounced cedar note with an underlying yeasty quality definite citrus undertones in the aroma and flavor. This beer is extremely effervescent giving the first sip a very fresh whole mouth tingle. Flavor is super citrusy and fresh balanced by a distinctive but clean cedar finish. Not an overly lingering bitterness thanks to the light mouthfeel. As I progressed through the pint the malty undertones developed fully and as my palate adapted to the cedar the more nuanced citrus (predominantly lemony) flavors really shone.
I loved this beer overall and it went down way too fast... A must try for any hop lover and someone trying to get into hops who finds it hard to sit through a full pint, this one goes down mighty easy.

Brewed in collaboration with the legendary Toronto beer and sausage bar WVRST.
Pours bright gold with crazy active carbonation bubbles and a gigantic, rocky Belgian Tripel like head. Juicy peach, tropical fruit, citrus hops fill the nose. Clean, crackery pale malt also in there. The taste is super fruity with peach, lemon, grapefruit, mango and more herbal and grassy hop notes mixing with a bready, malt ballast. The mouthfeel is light, betraying the low abv, with a brisk, nearly prickly carbonation. The finish is moderately bitter with lots of lingering lemon and tropical fruit.
Sawdust City hit it out of the ballpark once again with this fantastic beer. Very hoppy and crushable. This is a must try even if you don't usually like hoppy beers. Juicy stuff.
