473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. Canned April 19, 2018. LCBO purchase for somewhere around $3 CDN.
Appearance - Clear, very pale yellow beer with a finger of fluffy white head. A smidgen of cloudiness and carbonation marks the beer. Head retention is very modest.
Smell - Tropical grapefruit with plenty of sweetness mixed in. Kind of reminds me of a grapefruit punch type of drink. Sweetness is too much for me, but otherwise appealing.
Taste - Very mild, very watery. Some pink grapefruit is present initially with some sweet citrusy bits afterwards but the taste fades off quickly. Left with little flavor other then some general graininess. Thankfully no off flavors. Gets noticeably better the more you get into it.
Mouthfeel - Thin bodied, easy drinking, carbonation is pretty on point and very very dry finish.
Overall - radlers aren't usually my thing, but this is one of the few I've had where I actually wish they had pushed the juice just a bit further as the underlying beer just doesn't quite have enough substance. Still a better radler than some of the sickly sweet swill that's out there on the market.
