Formerly: Gnarnia Session IPA
This L’il IPA is perfect for crushin’ after a long ride on the trails or a slow, reflective walk in the woods. Using the simple malt body of a Hazy IPA and fermented on Escarpment Labs’ Foggy London Ale yeast, we've created a flavour that suggests more than the 5.5% abv you get. Finally, we dry-hopped Gnarnia with tons of Mosaic and Citra hops to give it a big citrus aroma and pack it with all the juicy flavour you can handle.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Jan 27 2022 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a turbid pale blonde colour, sporting nearly an inch of smooth, foamy white head that dissipates within two or three minutes' time. A lovely curtain of even lace is draped across the glass, with a tight collar and sudsy cap also remaining in place - lookin' good so far. Indeterminate tropical fruit on the nose, with hints of peach, pine, floral hops and lychee.
A flavourful, juicy session IPA - I'm getting apricot, cantaloupe and orange at first, backed by a wheaty, grainy pale malt sweetness. Hints of bubble gum, grapefruit and tropical fruit on the back end, with mildly floral, pithy hop bitterness wrapping things up nicely; these flavours fade into the somewhat fruity aftertaste. Light in body, with assertive carbonation that feels crisp and bright on the palate; refreshing to drink, and a pleasure to do so. At 5.5%, "session" was a bit of a stretch, but as someone with little interest in actual session IPAs, I still think it's in the sweet spot.
Final Grade: 4.00, an A-. Gnarnia L'il IPA is one of the best hazy session IPAs I've had to date, and I expect to return to this regularly during the coming BBQ season. As usual, Sawdust City's light IPA is above average, and earns a strong recommendation from this hophead: not only could I drink a few of these in a row, I also don't think I'd mind doing so - which is more than I can say for a lot of the mediocre session IPAs that crowd shelves these days.

I bought a can at the LCBO in Ontario 473ml at 5.5%
Poured into glass with a 1 to 2 finger head cloudy hazy color leaving a lace as you drink it.
Interesting color of haze and clouds like a cloud was being formed in my Glass
Taste is lots of tropical fruit flavors low bitterness level.
Overall a good light and refreshing lil IPA beer
Cheers

Look: Super hazy, pale yellow with a touch of green/grey highlights. Pours with a finger of densely bubbled, slightly rocky white head. The head slowly dissipates leaving a solid ring of thick lace after 5 minutes, with a thin head cover still present in the middle of the glass.
Smell: Leans slightly more west coast on smell then east,, pine and tropical floral smells. I do pick up lychee under the sharper pine resin.
Taste: Rounded and tropical, leaning more NEIPA then west coast on the taste. Plenty of pineapple, lychee, and mango, with a avocado like creaminess.
Feel: Crisp with a round mouth filling quality. Medium bodied. It finishes a little on the sweet side, leaving your tongue a little sticky and coated at the end.
A well named, and branded beer. It's not a huge in your face tropical NEIPA, but more of a hybrid, tropical IPA meets pale ale mashup. This is a solid B to B+ in my book. Not top tier in the fantastic Ontario IPA market, but definately something I wouldnt mind having again. If you like big tropical IPA's, but find Juicebombs a little too much, this could be a good fit for you.

Pours hazy pale gold with a rocky everlasting head that drapes the glass in foam. Grainy malts, green melon, mango, citrus in the nose. The taste is a mix of malty all bran notes and tropical, fruity, pineapple, citrus hops. Residual sweetness in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with light carbonation.
A restrained session IPA. Not super hoppy or complex, but crushable nonethless.

473 ml can served cold into a chalice. LCBO purchase for $3.75 CDN.
Appearance - Hazy, pale golden brew with yellow highlights and a big chunky head. Lots of lacing left behind.
Smell - Some leafy hops, mixed with perfumey flowers and a nice combo of mango, passionfruit and lychee.
Taste - Medium bitterness, some sweetness with tropical flavors dominating the way. Pineapple, lychee, mango and passionfruit all seem to be in there, but just a bit.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, leaning towards the lighter end of the spectrum. Medium-light pirckly carbonation and soft finish. Easy drinking and good for the style.
Overall - A pretty tasty NEIPA that's a little lighter and a little less juicy than most, but still a highly enjoyable offering from one of the best in Ontario.

Pours hazy, on the lighter shade of yellow-gold. Thick head. The smell is faint hops and faint tropical. The taste is also on the lighter side but nice and quaffable. It reminds me of a light beer, but it isn’t, clocking in at 5.5%. Overall I enjoyed it very much.
