Appearance: Poured with a thumb of head that produced a small amount of lacing and retained well, the body is a bright yellow with good carbonation, but a bit of a sandy haze about it.
Smell: Saaz Hops dominated the nose with a barley malt with a slight herbal hint. Required some warming to reach a good potency.
Taste: Biscuit like barley malt that immediately seeks a nice mild blend of grassy and slightly herbal hops. There isn't a lot though to say, it's very much straight to point.
Mouthfeel: Exceptionally crisp with good carbonation and great transitioning, albeit on an incredibly short journey. Slight biscuit malt aftertaste is nice that doesn't cling.
Drinkability: The carbonation leaves the beer a bit gassy, and it's incredibly basic and too the point, but it's crisp, clean and frankly your perfect replacement for Macro Lager.
