On tap at Abe Erb - pours a hazed amber copper color with a 3 finger creamy off white cap. Aroma has strong notes of malts, fruits and spice. Slick mouth feel, rounded mellow Character, medium bodied. Flavor is malts up front, in balance with spicey hops, light complexity on the palate - fruit, nuts, bran muffins, burnt treacle.....rich thick finish (for a saison) , lightly drying, malty, spicey, hop bite at the very end. A really got attempt to create an "imperial" Saison.
