On tap at BarHop for the Black and Orange Hallowe'en event, into a shaker pint. A smoked pumpkin roggenbier.
Muddy orange-brown, with a thin head that manages to retain fairly sufficiently. Nose of some rye, slight smoke, light pumpkin and even a touch of spice. Banana is gentle but ubiquitous on the nose too, bubblegum appears with warmth. Taste has some slightly sour woody smoke initially, before banana, wheat and spice. Not a ton of identifiable pumpkin here, perhaps masked by the smoke which cuts through everything. Medium full feel, low carbonation. A really interesting beer, but perhaps a full pint was a bit much. Definitely dug this though.
