Pours golden, with good clarity and a thin head. Smells of clove, banana and cream, with some lemon and some slight spice on the back end. Tastes creamy, clove spiked, and with more lemon on the finish, and creamy in the mouth. The flavors are good, but not only does this come off more like a hefeweizen, everything is just a bit unbalanced. Had this at Trapeze in Athens awhile ago, reviewing from notes.

Served on tap at Taco Mac Decatur August 10, 2012. Reviewed from notes.
(Appearance) clear medium gold amber, no head. Medium carbonation. 3
(Smell) Mild clove with a light Belgian bread yeast presence. Mild aroma, not very complex, but inviting and approachable; cidery tones. 3.5
(Taste) Cidery maple sweetness, hints of cider fruits meets a robust Belgian bread yeast with some spice. Enjoyable although a bit too cloying sweet overall, could be even more enjoyable with a clean finish and a crisper texture. 3
(Mouthfeel) Smooth, thick and sticky. light/medium body, light alcohol presence. Decent pairing but a bit too smooth, contributes too much to the sweetness. 3
(Overall) Very sweet, but enjoyable if you like the spice and a sweet full flavored brew. 3.5
