077XX is our double IPA focused on harmonizing the extremes inherent in the nature of an American double IPA for long-term drinkability. 07747 is the Dubviant tuned up with an exclusive Galaxy third dry hop inspired by the places that get it in Matawan. Galaxy amplifies 0’dub’s mix of dank resins and tropical fruits giving it a peachy treble to the thumps. Drink 07747 and nod your head to this.

16oz can stamped JOURNEY BEGAN 06/24/20 START @44° F poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass at just above fridge temp 5 SRM 7.8% ABV 80 IBU per can. The beer pours moderately hazy in a peach/amber color with sticky off white head. The head recedes slowly to a quarter inch cap and leaves a little lacing. The aroma is moderate in strength featuring ripe tropical fruit and earthy notes. The taste is very nice with a firm, not sweet or caramel, malt body interwoven with tropical fruit and dank, earthy hops. Moderate to heavy bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation and a dry finish. Overall, very good to excellent. The malt, hop and bitterness are just perfectly balanced here. Thanks Anthony!

Among the great O Dubs. At the brewer in 07716.
A) Pours a cloudy straw golden body with a dense, 1-finger white head with dotty lacing.
S) Big pine and resin, with a significant amount of peach, mango, papaya and a little grapefruit.
T) Follows the nose. Juicy, ripe peach and mango, pine resin, dank hops, then smoothly over top a malt base landing bitter and cleansing.
F) Feel is juicy, medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes dry with cleansing bitterness. Want another.

Overall - as delicious as the other Odubs. Try 24. Everyone was raving about it at the brewer.

This is by far the best of the 077 series. This thing is very juicy and very tropical. I had it on tap and drank it from the can. I can say that this one taste almost the same ffrom a can and a tap! I can't wait for this one to get back into the rotation

This was another 0'Dub variant that I traded for for a while back and finally got around to this week. I wasn't able to taste the peach in this but it felt grassier than the other ones that I had this week and this seemed like the most "typical" of the bunch to me, as it fell right in the middle of the pack in terms of the taste and how drinkable this was from start to finish.

The pour to this was nearly similar to all of the others, as the appearance was dank and golden to accompany a long-lasting head. Just a bit of sediment could be seen at the top of the liquid after each sip but this didn't feel old or skunked at all. Lots of grass and some tobacco in the nose with some dankness as well. A bit more pine and resin in the taste with stone fruit and a lot of grass thrown in for good measure. Moderately carbonated with a dry back end, the peach was very faint in the aftertaste as the other flavors lingered long enough to overpower it.

Of course, the booze was right on target and couldn't be detected during my session. Though the canning date was 6/2 and was written below the usual text of "Start @44F", this tasted just as lively and fresh as the other variants. A solid beer that featured the Galaxy hop nicely while not being too dry at the same time. Easily worth a go once.

Deep orange, hazy, medium size white head and great lacing. Very strong hoppy and dank aroma. Notes of light tropical fruit, dank, under ripe stone fruits, pine, and a bit of pepper. Medium body, good bite but smooths out, finish is clean and dry with nice hoppy linger. No hint of alcohol. Another world class variant of an amazing DIPA.

Pounder can poured into a pint appears a hazy golden pale color with white cap.

Aroma has a carbonic bite, sulfur and slight fruity hops. There is a bit of cheesy hop smell to this. As it warms it has a soapy thing about it.

Taste has some mineral character and pithy bitterness somewhat rindy. Very mild fruited hop character and straw-like husky grain without any residual sweetness.

Light in body, modest carbonation. Not bad but not that good either.

16oz can dated 6/2/16. Beautiful golden body with a wispy white head that clings to the glass on the way down. The light, fruity aroma belies that dankness that awaits. Taste opens light and fruity but the finish is extra dry, sticky, piney and weed. Tasty brew with great layers of flavor.

Looks plenty fine with it's sassy foamy head and clear pale orangey yellowness. Lacing comes across as disinterested despite participation.

Nose is juicy tangerine with a little zesty lemongrass hints around the edges.

Taste mimics the nose, but brings out a touch more grassiness, which allows the tongue piercing bitterness a few distractions.

Medium bodied and darn dry on finish, despite being well balanced with a hint of caramel malts, there's not a bit of aftertaste here - sweet or otherwise. This big beer isan adventure and quickly becomes a phantom.

16oz. can into a Heady Topper stemless snifter.

Nose is citrus, cane sugar, pine and grass. Pretty mellow out this point. Flavor is citrus, pine, grass and papaya. A light hop resin bitterness towards the end that dries out nicely. Really drinkable. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth and juicy on the palate and goes down soft and dry. Sticky, resiny finish. Excellent!

Super drinkable and flavorful, 07747 is a great example of the New England IPA stlye. That being said, you have to be near flawless to stand out in the DIPA style and this doesn't. Still, well worth trying if you can get your hands on it.
