077xx is our double IPA focused on harmonizing the extremes inherent in the nature of an American double IPA for long-term drinkability. 07701 is the Dubviant tuned up with an exclusive Apollo third dry hop inspired by the places that get it in Red Bank. Appollo's monster Alpha Acids opens 0'dub's mix of dank resin and tropical fruit aromas with a citrus blast. Drink 07701 and see what happens when alpha is the omega.

This is one of the better variants for sure. Absolutely fantastic and reminded me a lot of 07750 Nelson which is my favorite. The aroma here is just amazing. yb

Canned 10-30-19
Pours honey color.. almost crystal clear. Nice foamy head that subsides slowly. Very nice sticky lacing. Citrus and tropical up front. Well balanced. Piney dankness. Taste mirrors the aroma, with a nice hit of bitterness. MF is medium, creamy with a tad bit of a/b. It is, however a DIPA.
This is Carton through and through. Excellent balance, very easy drinking.

Delicious and dank though I find the mouth feel just a teeny bit rough, wishing it was smoother and not as bite-y. But super great variant and can’t pass it up. UPDATE NOV 2020: drinking this again and DAMN it’s just sooo delicious! The bite I recall from 2019 is there but much toned down; and the piney resin has a caramelly touch—mixed with the tropical fruits, plus its crispness, makes this incredibly drinkable at 7.9%. Moreso than last year you truly cannot pass this up if you see it.

Why not just call the O-dubs by their city names? Lots of good reasons: 1) NJ has lovely town names, as in this case, Red Bank, gets no better. 2nd - ups sales, especially in and near Red Bank. 3rd - keeps it simple: Carton/zip/town-brand-name. 4th NJ (with the mistaken identity trashed by popular TV) would enjoy all the brand help it can get!
(Let me finish this best of O-Dub and I'll come up with a 2 more for a 6 pack rationale)! Pleased to write 2nd review of this bright, cleansing king of O-Dubs.
a) Big one finger head in mug at brewer, spackly head, that lasts and paints with lace.
s) bright, sunny, grassy, citric, acidic, white grapefruit flesh, cleansing, inviting.
t) Alpha hop forward, with break out citric bite, accompanied with flowers, grass, brass, and sunny cheer on a malt cracker base of white and light. white grapefruit flesh and white lightening - almost vodka like pucker. Hemp!
f) astringent for those that like citric puckers. Almost a palate scraper.
Loved it. Brilliant for summer. True to Red Bank, riverfront salt estuary town.

Canned 4/1/2017. Poured into Carton O'Dub glass. It pours a hazy golden orange with two fingers of bright white head and lacing and lots of small bubbles ascending the glass. The smell is great: tangerine, grapefruit, melon, lemon peel, pine needles, and floral hops. The fruit bursts forth in the first sip; there is abundant sweet citrus and melon or mango over a nice malt base. You can taste the Apollo hops but there isn't as sharp a bite as some of the other Dubviants despite the fact that they all seem to be 80 IBU. While it has a similar mouth feel to the others, something about it made it more quaffable; I finished the can in record time. Overall, I was really impressed. I've had nearly all the Dubviants and always liked the Mosaic and Nelson the best but this one could be my new favorite!
