Winking Back is my 1500th beer review and 1st of Winking Back at my hometown brewer, Carton.
a) Hazed, orange/amber body, pillows mid size head, that laces and lasts.
s) Grapefruit dominates, citrus, with melon on a wheaty, oat creamy base.
t ) follows the smell, more grapefruit than most Carton brews, vibrant, tangy and leading into a creamy, tangy, bitter finale.
f) Wish for slightly more body.
o) Lovely Citra/Galaxy showcase. Well made.
