What we have here is a Carton/Equilibrium collaboration. It is a Wheat/Oat Imperial IPA. Looks the color and shade of Apricot juice, almost a burnt orange. Smell is Fruity and tropical. Taste is reminiscent of guava, melon, peach, pineapple with a nice hop bite and great malt finish. Here is where it gets incredible. The wheat gives it that light fluffy feel while the oats deliver a super creamy feel. Light bodied, not slick or viscous, especially with this high ABV that is amazing. This beer is like a revolution!! Overall this may be my Favorite IIPA.

Canned on 8/7/2019 and poured into a snulip glass. It pours a turbid, brownish tangerine color with a lovely, thick, creamy, eggshell colored head and thick lacing. The fragrant erupts when the can is opened and features lemon, lime, onion, honey, oats, resinous pine needles, and floral hops. It's very dank. The taste opens sweeter and fruitier than I anticipated. At the beginning there is lots of honey, oats, and sugary cream, followed by lemon, grapefruit, and tangerine at mid-sip. The Kolsch yeast adds to the interesting flavor mix. There follows a wash of dry, spicy bitterness from the Enigma and Ella hops with some white wine notes. The flavors are bold and compliment each other well. This ale has a thick, almost chewy feel with moderate carbonation, and there is no mistaking the 10.1% ABV. It drinks like a plush, creamy TIPA. Overall, this is a very unique and flavorful big IPA. You can tell that Equilibrium played a role in brewing it as the look and feel reminds me more of Equilibrium's DIPAs than one brewed by Carton. But the Kolsch yeast and grist bill is all Carton.

Added this new brew and its first #1 review.
Infinite and paradoxical: The ouroboros or uroborus is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its own tail. Originating in ancient Egyptian iconography, the ouroboros entered western tradition via Greek magical tradition and was adopted as a symbol in Gnosticism and Hermeticism and most notably in alchemy.

a) Misty muddy body, spouts lots of lace,
s ) plenty of nose+ pineapple, malt, caramel, and funky gasoline ethols... "outerboros".
t) Resinous, complex, tasty, with notes of caramel, wood sap, pine, sawdust, and that funky marine fuel thing.
f) resonating, tangy, cleans up nicely, not over sweet, abv hidden, goes down almost too easily, fine.
o) great original carton collaborative recipe with eQuilibrium.
