A: Golden yellow delicious apple with some richer amber gold mottling. Wheat makes it quite turbid, and it faintly resembles a lact-oat IPA. Healthy light beige head that’s full, creamy, and promises to leave lots of tracing on the side.

S: It has a sharp fruitiness that I usually only find in a milkshake or sour IPA. Some sort of freakish Frankenstein of lemon meringue, peach cobbler, strawberry shortcake. Some pine and fruity pebblez cannabis undertones. Really strong orange Zebra gum.

M: Rich feel. Airy body with a bit of warmth.

T: Pear, citrus. Tropical fruit that tastes sunny and sweet like Dole pineapple or starfruit. Soft pine needles, light bitterness, and mellow blood orange tea that says sit back, relax, and puts you on cruise.

O: Looks like an oat IPA, smells like a sour IPA, feels like a NEIPA, tastes more WC. Brewed with body fortifying wheat, acidic sauermalz, richer carahell malt, and a fruit/pacific pine punch hop combo of Strata and Amarillo; this beer falls into its own style. Preach it from High Point Monument that NJIPA has arrived.

Canned on 9/4/2019. Poured into a Carton IPA glass. It pours turbid, apricot-brown with over a finger of fluffy, milk-white head and thick, creamy lacing. It's a very attractive pour. Quite the nose: lemon, grapefruit, onion, cantaloupe, raspberry, and floral. In fact, it's like walking through a greenhouse. The taste opens with lots of fruit: ripe melon, lemon, raspberry, and grapefruit. It's extremely dank. It starts out tart but ends with berry sweetness. The complex bill of Citra, Galaxy, Amarillo, Falconers Flight, and Strata hops provides an incredible array of flavors including citrus, cannabis, and bitterness. This ale has it all! The mouth feel is rich and creamy with moderate carbonation, and the 8.4% ABV gives it a lot of substance. Overall, this is outstanding! The work of two first rate brewers who clearly enjoy working together.

This Springsteen lyric is among his purest, earliest, most lyrical expressions of growing up on the Jersey Shore.
" I was open to pain and crossed by the rain and I walked on a crooked crutch
I strolled all alone through a fallout zone and come out with my soul untouched
I hid in the clouded wrath of the crowd, but when they said, "Sit down, " I stood up."
Authentic Underdog. That's a jerseyan.
This NE DIPA is billed as a NJ IPA - and no kidding.
Motueka in a crazy hazed body, topped by a fervent lacing head.
creamy feel, creamy wheaty core, topped by big hoppy attitude.
It's not in your face, just undefeatable.
t/ Medicinal, mineral, wheat, layered by lime, thyme, grass, jay and hay.
f / one of the best mouth feels on any Carton beer.
o / Almost too much, well done. So NJ.
Reminds me of The Substance from Maine.
