Full disclosure I love me a wheated IPA! And when one of the best, most consistent east coast breweries deigns to grace us with such a liquid, you can bet your bottom dollar it’s prob gonna be a gatdang winner. Can you guess where this review is headed? I get a lovely full finger+ head in my taku, darkish orange hue, some bits floatin’ about; wunnerful melon-y biscuit nose; mouth is coconut pineapple wheat all the way through, the 8.5% is hidden like a sock lost in the bedsheets. And I thank the Beer Goddess again I’m living in New Jersey. Thank you, Carton!!

Canned on 12/3/2019. Poured into a Carton IPA glass. It pours a hazy, golden-orange with orange hues and sports a thick, creamy, milk-white head and extensive soapy lacing. Its smell features tangerine/orange, wheat biscuit, and whiffs of melon and coconut, along with a slight sourness. The taste opens nicely fruity with tangerine, lemon, and pineapple, balanced by vanilla, wheat cracker and a hint of pine. It's tangy and quite juicy. The finish has just a touch of pepper. The mouth feel allows for easy drinking with pleasant carbonation. Its 8.5% ABV provides good substance. It's very refreshing and I finished the can before I knew it. Overall, I enjoyed this offering from the can as much as I did at the brewery. I've had a few DIPAs featuring Sabro hops and I think this is my favorite.

1st Review of this 3rd in Turn Up Hook Remix Series, which has been uneven for me.
This one too is a bit cloudy, clapotis, confused seas.
a) base body is slightly hazed mostly clear PA body with scant head last but plenty of lace.
s) wheat, grain, coconut, peach, cedar.
t) All the above but marred by a kind of overly bready wheatiness.
f) a nice ring to the finish, that crests and cleanses into the finale.
o) Mid-pack for Carton but interesting.
