Hemp oil adjunct, hops:Citra, Amarillo, Simcoe
Pineapple juice color, head flattened from the oil.
Hits more pineapple, lemon, citrus, but undercurrent of Mary Jane. (does anyone call it that anymore?)
Yes fallen leaves and wet earth too.
It's more indica than sativa - or else I'm just sleepy.
Crisp, astringent finish.
fun beer.

Look is bronze. Sediment upon last bit in the can is visible. Which is fine. It does smell immediate like good marijuana. Very dank. Very herbal. Loud and in your face from across a room. Peach, lemon rinds and the pineapple was subtle though tbh. I do not taste pineapple right away. It’s just a very intense DIPA with what feels like that mosaic sweetness but is actually the abundance of Simcoe doing its lemon brightness thing and Amarillo giving off sweet peach. The can also says citra which I can pick out as well so they are all cohesive and not fighting for the front. Now with the hemp oil I was very curious about the body of this beer but there is no oily residue. No oily mouthfeel but you do taste it’s intensity. It feels bigger than only 10 IBU so cheers to that. the finish is fruity and clean with the dry herbaceous dankness which eventually will cling to an over ripe pineapple I was looking for as the beer developed and warmed a bit with the aftertaste quite literally like a Pineapple Game blunt wrap.
Super well done. Extreme balance. 8% is scarily hidden. The only reason the “taste” didn’t get a 5 was due to an expectation of a pineapple through out and not just in the finish but that how I perceived it. Highly recommended.
