Butter yellow haze. Nose is pungent canteloupe, pineapple gummies, and grape hi-chew. Taste is extremely tropical fruit forward. Heavy pineapple gelato, creamy melon, and berry. Booze heat on the finish, although not off-putting. Definitely a triple.

A: Bright column of persimmon shielded by a pastel yellow mantle, and topped by a creamy white head.
S: Fruit roll-ups, Ecto Cooler Hi-C, Balsam pine, blueberry and peach pits.
M: Hard mineral core with swirls of soft cream circulating about. Long lasting astringency. Alcohol is well-hidden.
T: Solid punch of pineapple sweetness upfront that is never duplicated. Dashing uppercuts of grapefruit pith, mandarin zest, and red currant. Peppergrass, dense cherimoya, pear. Finishing blows of pez-like chalkiness and a Sweetart element that leaves you dizzy with fairly high and masking bitterness.
Solidly executed and delicious, but it doesn't leave me clamoring for another.

1st review. Collaboration is core to Carton, in this case with District 96.
a) Triple IPA of smoothy status, so thick, it slashes saucy lace round the glass and pours a sedimentary glowing body.
Inspired by '78 Promised land, Springsteen, our local neighbor hero.
s) fruit cupboard, dried mango slices, spice cabinet, ample.
t) Follows aroma with mango, pear, peach, orchard fruit dominatting over vanilla, spice rack, all tied together in a peppery finale.
f) Smoothie. But on a smooth mineral, Kolsch core. Nectar.
o) Over the top, like a Springsteen hero:
"On a rattlesnake speedway in the Utah desert
I pick up my money and head back into town..."
