A: Poured a butterscotch gold with fine, dusty specks of haze floating in suspension. No effervescence, but a moderate egg cream colored head.
S: Quite a unique and pungent aroma. Papaya, lime, melon sorbet, mango creamsicle, citrus peel/red grapefruit, quince jam. Not picking up on the smoke, but I do get an open bag of McDonald's apple slices; no kolsch yeast in this one, but their water (regardless of subliminal propaganda) does seem to have a distinct character.
M: Med bod and low-mod carbonation. Moderately strong drying bitterness. Pretty juicy, not ultra-soft, and the bitterness
T: Very focused and tight flavors with underripe kiwi, dragonfruit, earthy plantain, custard, jujube candy. Bitterness is an herbal, leafy, green citrus; slight minerality.
I'm liking this a lot because the look reminds me of Dirt Wolf, the smell is pretty outrageous, and the flavor is very focused.

1st review. brew date 3-10-21. pre-St Pats 3-16-21. 5 days young.
a) Dim darkish hazed apricot. good amount of translucent haze and lace.
s) Peachy, creamsicle, with pungent smoky roast apple.
t) Follows around with more herbal added smokey sage and eucalyptus.
f) bright, juicy, clean, citric without being mouth coating.
o) Fine original NE style, on the peach / smoked apple and herbal spectrum
