No better pub that Carton's tasting room. Beer is fresh, lines are clean, always someone and something new, and lots of cyclists and dogs. More pubs, yes, more brewer tasting rooms, YES! Tried this at CASK at Carton on double bike ride day (road 42, mtb 14, grass cut 2)
a) Classic English brown ale.
s) Malt, candy, toffee, varnish, wood.
t) Follows aroma with the sweet malt tempered by firm bitter backbone.
f) great fall-winter beer, rainy day as it's warming. Savor in front of the fire or the electric heater.
o) On target for fresher classic English brown ale.
