12oz can served in a stemless rastal. Can is dated 04/23/25. Got it in a trade with @not2quick.
Pours very dark brown, translucent, maybe clear but dark enough that it's hard to tell. Medium sized to small head. Smell is hint of toffee and chocolate, lots more nuts and toasted barley. Grain tea, mild yeast.
Taste is very toasty, moderate barkiness, lots of earthy bitterness. Sweetness is kind of skulking around in the shadows. Bitterness reminds me of cherry pits, oddly enough.
Mouthfeel is light, not too light -- smooth, clean, little bit of a dry texture. Pretty nice beer.
