Had this on-tap at the decidedly "West Coast Chopper" and tattoo influenced brewpub. With the description I was expecting a nice all-malt vienna lager, not the crystal malt pounding I got. This beer is way out of balance on the sweet with obvious over use of crystal malts instead of decoction to get their color and malt profile. I could barely finish the pint.
I think this beer could be great if they would stick to German malts, you don't necessarily have to do decoction backflips to produce a good German-style lager but please - keep the crystal malts for the IPAs!
