Double Dry-Hopped IPA with Cashmere, Vic Secret & Nelson Sauvin hops
Hazier than a hot summer day on the shores of Lake Ontario. Soft carbonation, with a light pillowy mouthfeel. Aromas of bright tropical fruits, fuzzy peach, ripe pineapple, and juicy tangerine.

473ml can served cold into an oversized wine glass. LCBO purchase. Canned April 7, 2025.
Appearance - Very hazy, honey brown brew with a finger plus of sparkling white foamy head. Good retention and a small curtain of lacing stays behind.
Smell - Big tropical notes with peach, melon, grape and tangerine. Good intensity too.
Taste - More sweet than expected, but very pleasant with peach and cantaloupe predominantly a kiss of grapes and berries and a touch of pineapple to top thing off. Juicy and flavorful.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, very low carbonation and quite juicy and crushable. Wish there was just a touch more life in this one.
Overall - Holding up really well after 7 months, I can only imagine how good a fresher can would've been when it still scores this high, this much later. A top notch brew from Indie Ale House and probably my favorite of their releases to date.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Apr 7 2025 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a hazy pale golden-yellow colour, generating one finger of soapy white head that disintegrates within a couple of minutes. A few patches of lace are scattered about in its wake, with a sudsy collar and cap remaining atop - looks normal enough. The aroma is herbal, citrusy and slightly vinous, offering up hints of lemon, white wine, pineapple, stone fruit, lemon balm and pine forest.
A very tasty IPA with a delicate, nuanced flavour profile; it's less herbal & vinous than the nose suggested, but still quite enticing. I am getting pineapple, peach and lemon early on, as well as some bready pale malts and wheat; flavours of passion fruit, grape and white wine develop by mid-sip. Finishes with grapefruit, peach juice and some light pine-resin bitterness, all of which dissipate into a fruity conclusion; the aftertaste trends off-dry. On the fuller side of medium-bodied, with lively carbonation that adds a sprightliness to this brew's smooth, pillowy texture. Exceptionally easy to toss back.
Final Grade: 4.18, an impressive A-. I really enjoyed Magnolia Lane, and I think it might be one of my favourite Indie Ale House IPAs, at least of those I've tried thus far - Vic Secret and Nelson Sauvin make very good partners. This pale ale's blend of tropical fruit, citrus, stone fruit and vinous hops is sure to satisfy many Ontario hopheads, and I wholeheartedly encourage any and all BAs who happen across a fresh flat of this brew to grab a couple for themselves. Cheers!
