Intriguing fruity and aroma with a hint of vinegar. Rich and warm with a roasty flavor. Then there's the gin flavor, which is thoroughly intriguing and seems to emphasize the sharp edge. It just reminds me so much of Baskin Robbins daquiri sherbert. I don't get much Belgian character or yeastiness.
This is definitely on the tart side, but there is still plenty of malty sweetness as it goes down. Dark amber color with a sudsy mouthfeel. Lots of foam in the Ciney snifter. The acidity grows as you sip. The sour enthusiast will want to try this one. Corked and caged 750 ml bottle from Central Market in Shoreline.
