Can from Boise Co-op. Golden orange body, fluffy head subsides to thin skin. Aroma is pineapple juice and light grains. Taste switches this to a more golden ale, white bread flavors with tropical citrus notes. Tasty golden, juicy fruit accents. Nice summer beer.

I found a can of Palisades Pineaple in somebody's refrigerator. Palisades Pineapple is awful. Look: Palisades Pineapple had the appearance of the water I see in the gutter. Smell: Palisades Pineapple smells like cheap perfume. Taste: Palisades Pineapple had the flavour of seltzer water with a slight after taste of artificial fruit. Feel: Palisades Pineapple had barely any carbonation. I feel that this beer is a waste of money. Palisades Pineapple had weak alcohol content too. Overall: Palisades Pineapple is a pitiful beer. I pity anybody who would waste money on purchasing Palisades Pineapple.

12oz can best by 7/22/2020. Straw yellow color, loads of white head, and a significantly cloudy, hefeweiss style body. Pineapple mild in the aroma and much stronger in the foam and glass. There's a little swinge of something that could be a bit sweeter, which must be the apricot, but this is a pineapple wheat beer through and through. Tasty if a bit close to alco-pop. Fortunately even though the flavor is sweet the aftertaste is relatively clean -- fruity, but clean.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a pint glass. Looks fantastic. Light golden, slightly hazy but still mostly clear. Looks great in the light, I mean, damn. Rocky, two finger head. Apricots are the first note I'm getting. Had an apricot tree in my backyard growing up, this smells exactly it. Great combination with the pineapple, very unique and pleasant aroma. Really tastes the way it's smells with the apricot being the first note and the pineapple coming along for the ride later on. Glad the wheat isn't missing, this isn't juice after all. But it could be more pronounced. It's a little flat at the end as the flavors seem to fade fast. I like the minimal carbonation, it really allows the flavors to be the star of the show. Golden Road did a good job with this one. I'm a fan. Great for the summer, but it's tane enough to be a go to even afterwards.

pretty sweet, but a tasty summery wheat beer nice outside in the longer evening light on one of the first nice days of spring here. its a frothy, not that minimal base, which i like, can taste and feel some grain, not a watery or generic blonde, good call on giving the base beer some personality. the pineapple is a little candied to me in nose and taste, less fleshy and juicy and real, both in aroma and flavor, and as a consequence this is somewhat less refreshing than a more natural profile would be. that said, it tastes pretty good, doesnt finish as sweet as it starts, and has the layer of pulpy dried apricot in there too, almost unnecessary, i might like the pineapple better on its own, but the taste is pleasant and seasonally appropriate. there is a little more of the forced fruit than their needs to be, if i am being critical, but i like that some wheat still comes through and i think overall this accomplishes its apparent mission. good carbonation, some earthy pale wheat, easy enough drinking without being boring. the golden road fruit beers continue to be a little less natural and a little heavier dosed than i prefer, but the overall quality is pretty good, ill drink the rest of the sixer pretty happily...

12 oz. can - Freshness date of 12/02/2019 stamped on bottom:
Pours slightly hazed deep golden with a creamy thin lasting head. Trailing lace sticks.
The smell is of a pleasant aroma - pineapple and apricot with dough and a subtle wheat tang.
The taste is of pineapple juice and apricot. Fruits present, but well-balanced, enhancing the "beer" character. Sweet with a bit of wheat tang in the finish.
It has a juicy, creamy, refreshing light body.
A nicely done fruit-infused wheat ale. Much better than typical. Sweet, but not sticky at all. Nice beer element that isn't overwhelmed by the noticeable fruit character (pineapple with apricot mixed in).
