I got a can of this off the single shelf at a Kroger just down the road from south metro ice in Dayton,OH. It poured a clear pee yellow with thin white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had faint cucumber and pepper. The taste was crisp and refreshing with cucumber at the front then on the very back end and when you exhale the pepper comes true....very interesting beer. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's not too shabby.

Can is dated 8 months ago. Not fresh at all…
Appearance: Pours a cloudy golden, with a nice head of white suds. No lace.
Aroma: Definite cucumber character with some lime. Actually pretty pleasant. But I like cucumber.
Taste: Curiously fruity — a lively cucumber and lime flavor that isn’t bad at all. Habanero underneath is very subtle and muted, giving only a hint and not actually spicy. Really a solid beer in my opinion, despite being outdated. Refreshing, light, and with a significantly unique flavor profile.

Perfect finger worth of white foamy head to a very light golden see through beer. Almost has a lime tint to it.
The nose smells fresh. Mixes of cucumber and heat like peppers.
The taste has huge cucumber and hints of the peppers. It doesn't have an actual heat to it but just a flavorful pepper presence. It leaves a little burn on the lips tho which I like.
Overall, this is a nice light refreshing lager but I was expecting more flavor from it at least from the peppers.

Pours an almost lime color, which is breathtaking, and settles to a nice mellow pale yellow. Head is huge and settles to 1/2 finger.
I can smell the lime and the habanero very clearly. The grains underneath (corn/maize and 2-row) are properly situated underneath. The spotlight is definitely where it needs to be.
The flavor starts off with crystal clean lagering, I can't emphasize how clean this beer is. It then brings forth flavors of corn grits, a polite splash of crisp cucumber and delicious juicy lime, and the habanero simply tails in with a nod, leaving a very red, slight, piquant spice burn at the end.
Feel is clean, crisp, and swells up to medium bodied almost, which bumps it up from your average american lager.
Overall, I'm finding Golden Road to be a stellar brewery - even their lower rated beers are impressing the heck out of me. This one is not shy on its contents - but they don't overwhelm either, striking that perfect balance that maybe 10% of breweries in the world actually manage to do. People should really review beers based on their style, contents, and aim...not on whether they stack up to their favorite IPA or Stout. This was executed marvelously.

This brew is a light straw color with a thin head and a lot of haze. From a can, it's aroma is very cucumber, with a little pale malt underneath. The taste is clean and fresh, with more cucumber and a little flower/grass flavor. Medium-light in body and very interesting and engaging.

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a slightly cloudy yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is similar to cucumbers. The taste is mild cucumber.

Although this brew is not a typical "go for gold," it has its place in being a great beer. A bright golden colour with a sharp wheat note bring forth the light taste of cucumber with the after-bite of the habanero. This brew is best enjoyed with the intent to enjoy the sun and have a refreshing drink.

Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a fluffy head of white foam. It smelled of lime and cucumber. It tasted of pureed cucumber and lime. No habanero at all. It was gross. Cucumber does not belong in beer.

12 oz can in at the 2017 Suwannee Roots Revival Festival.
25 July 2017 date stamp.
Pours with a hazy pale golden body and a weak head.
Flavorful for style with a readily detectable cucumber note and, as promised, "a hint of habernero".
Medium-light body.
Nicely refreshing.
