Pours golden yellow with white foamy cap. HUGE Imperial made with bold imperial hoppy IPA crafted with good malty balance at 9% ABV.

A decent, approachable DIPA.
Straw to gold in hue (with a tinge of amber). Fluffy head develops but tapers off. Decent retention. Very scant lacing.
Nose brings a rise of citrus and lemon with a hint of herbal spice.
Flavor is mildly citrusy with a tingly pop of grapefruit and maybe berry. The sweet malt base eventually can be picked up.
Mouthfeel is on the lighter side for a DIPA, but not bad.

This is imperial IPA for someone who is taking baby steps from generic mass marketed/ mass produced lagers. Best buy date of 9/20, consumed on 7/17/24. Nothing noteworthy in any attribute. Generic yellow/ gold topped by a finger of near white head of minimal duration. A token amount of lacing. Not bad, but not great…at all.

Attractive appearance, with the clear amber brew and cap of white foam in the wine glass. Moderate citrus peel flavor, with a hot alcohol finish. This tastes so much like the FW Double Hopnosis I just tried, but at least this one's drinkable. It is pretty sweet, but not revolting. The hops are moderately bitter but the orange and lemon peel taste is not bad. Overall, this is the modern idea of Malt Liquor, sweet alcoholic gunk but this time with hops. From the 19.2 oz can with a "Best By" date of 12/16/23.
