On tap at Golden Road Brewing in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a clear yellow with a foamy white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, citrus zest, spice, and yeast aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest and spice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of yeast bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer with a hop presence that makes this one a bit too bitter tasting to be very enjoyable.

"Light spice and Belgian esters accentuated by a crisp lemon zest character, which is the result of a generous dose of El Dorado hops in the whirlpool."
The official description is pretty spot on. The overall taste could be described as more mild than most saisons though. The finish is certainly clean but I think something is lacking with such a simple overall taste profile. At the end, I was happy with this beer but a part of me wished there was more complexity.
