Dark garnet with light tan, thin head. Good lacing. Aroma of dried fruits, crystal malts, some piney hops, subtle oakiness. Flavor is of prunes, dried cherries, caramel malts with balanced hop earthiness; very subtle hint of rye whiskey. Finished extremely clean, slightly sweet, no alcohol/whiskey. Well balanced, unique, delightful and rare style session beer.
