Presentation: 12 oz longneck bottle. Label has a beer being drawn from the business end of a cow. Spot for bottled date on the label, but it isn't marked. This is being contract brewed by Breckenridge, but at least they acknowledge that plainly on the label.
Appearance: Bright reddish gold in color, with a thin head and a small amount of bubbles.
Smell: Aroma is very light - some grain, and just a bit of a yeasty note.
Taste: Clean grain flavors - a nice golden ale with a mild, but still enjoyable flavor
Overall impression: Well I think the main problem here is the name. I took it as a play on a hefe - and if I was looking for that type of flavor. A hefeweizen it is not. A decent golden ale, it definitely is.
